A CREATIVE STARTER FOR A MONDAY MORNING by Nancy L. Eady

Mondays can be a difficult day. The slide from the weekend routine to the “daily grind” can be jarring. So just for fun, this Monday, here are three unusual pictures I took at various times. Look at them and invent your own headlines, captions, or two to three sentence descriptions of what caused the photographs to occur. Share them in the comments below. Be as wild or as prosaic as you please. Hopefully, it will get your creative juices flowing!

    1. The new hire on the construction crew realized the mandatory safety vest was way too small, so he did the best he could to comply with the regulations.
    2. The escaped bunny slipper enjoys his new-found, probably temporary, freedom in the sun.
    3. Urban teen uprooted to a rural setting tries to make the back yard feel as familiar as possible.

    1. First the giant asteroid, then the volcanos, and now the heat dome. We're moving to Canada.
    2. We call that chair the toddler disappearing chair. Sometimes, but not always, they return.
    3. Car jacking in the Smokies. Sling your boots over the tree limb and start walking. I'll keep your keys and phone.

    1. Gator: “Gonna go disrupt a golf game”. Dinosaurs :”Hold my beer”.
    2. While trying to stomp out a lit cigarette, Bunny Slipper#1 accidentally ignited it with hand sanitizer. Bunny Slipper #2 is claiming he saw nothing as Bunny Slipper #1 takes a trip downtown.
    3. Sneakers, not to be outdone by Bunny Slipper, tie themselves in knots trying to escape the golf course Dinosaur.
