This is a nice piece on villains, Warren. I've always felt bad about poor Jud Fry.
Well done, Warren. And a good reminder to humanize our villains.
A villain with redeeming qualities is hard to find. I like setting up him/her versus the protagonist who initially thinks the villain is a good person, and then listens to her (it's usually a her) spidey sense.
Excellent reminder that a well rounded, even likable villain, can be fun to write.
I had to laugh at your last paragraph, Warren. Thank goodness that good-looking gentlemen like yourself can be writers!
