Interesting – never thought about the evil laugh. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA appeals to me. It has just the right touch of well, evil.

I'll add an evil laugh to my WIP, though a chuckle and a sneer are more in character for the bad guy. I like MWAHAHA.

Thanks for the info.

It brings to mind the question of gallows humor, which is surprisingly widespread (and not just in relation to actual gallows. A lot of cops, prison inmates, emergency room staff, etc. engage in it.)
