So true. Writing can be solitary, but the team keeps us in the game.

ReplyDeleteIn soccer, corridor of uncertainty is the area between the goal and the defensive line. Will the attacking team score or will the defensive line hold? In writing terms, which character has the ball, and will she be successful in scoring or defending?
ReplyDeleteEveryone likes a close, contested game -- if it's one-sided only the most rabid fans of the winning side will remain interested.
