1. It's raining outside and I'm feeling gloomy.
2. It's sunny and eighty degrees outside. Too nice to stay indoors and write.
3. The cupboard is bare. I need to go food shopping and perhaps visit a friend.
4. I'm stuck in my plot and need time to think about what I'm doing wrong.
5. I'm exhausted after exercising and running several errands.
6. I need to call several friends before they forget I'm alive.
7. I'm not in the mood.
8. I need to help my critique partner with her plot problem.
9. My Facebook page and profile require my attention.
10. It's time I went through my closet and got rid of clothes I haven't worn in a year.
11. The books in my bookshelves have to be put in alphabetical order.
12. I really should make that blueberry cake before the blueberries go bad.
13. I'm tired and need to take a nap.
14. I'll work on my marketing plans for my book that's out in six months.
15. I work so hard, I deserve a lunch out and a visit to the local museum.
If you subscribe to most of the above, you'll never finish your WIP.
