It was a creature that was killing my hens, and I couldn't figure out how it was getting in. I thought of a weasel, but it turned out to be a mink - something I had no idea was in the area. I saw it weaving in and out of the weeds at the edge of my pond. Putting another layer of fencing with smaller holes at the bottom solved the problem.Gloria Aldenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13581719606924364447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-993649290245605005.post-55454951287575594472012-02-16T13:02:32.493-05:002012-02-16T13:02:32.493-05:00That sounds like such fun, Warren. When she's being especially annoying while I'm trying to type, I smear a little peanut butter on one of her chew bones, and it keeps her away for a while. It's not easy typing with a big dog leaning against me, especially since my chair has wheels.Gloria Aldenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13581719606924364447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-993649290245605005.post-21375151390761109952012-02-16T12:02:39.497-05:002012-02-16T12:02:39.497-05:00You're such a sleuth. I hope Maggie is a good example, and that she gives you ideas for your mysteries. My favorite dog sleuth is Chet, Spencer Quinn's character.<br />Chet's favorite treat is Slim Jims, what is Maggie's?E. B. Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16746747050278597888noreply@blogger.com
